Heket
Kiss me, I'm a prince!
Hekets are the little frogs of the souris world. They are very shy and reserved and hard to get a bond with. But once you manage to win their trust you do have a friend for life.
They can be found on the shores and in the water of the Coco River and in Lake Pah.
During breeding season the males gather on the shores and start to attract the females by croaking. The croaking sounds they produce are very lovely and relaxing to listen to.
After mating the females go upstream, cross the Lake and continue going upstream to the warm waters around the Huo Vulcano where they lay their eggs in the warm mud on the shores.
When the eggs evolve to tadpoles and hatch, the little tadpoles stay in the warm waters until they have gone through a complete metamorphosis from tadpole to frog.
After the metamorphosis the young ones go down stream again to the Coco river. These young ones are the easiest to bond with.
Hekets come in all the colors of the rainbow.
